The Future is the Safe Haven Asset

The investments I am interested in are about the future, and I am invested in building the future.

Our age’s relentless mega political force (Sovereign Individual) is exponential technology. It is overwhelming how humans organize themselves; we have no choice but re-engineer how societies function.

For me, this leaves two investment vectors. I do not believe they are mutually exclusive, but my action reveals my bias.

1. Exponential Technology Platforms, the current market winners that are likely to perpetuate and extend their exponential advantages. Buy the Peter Thiel thesis of companies that can establish a monopoly over niche markets. Centralized Corporate Control.

2. Decentralized Exponential Technology Protocols, verifiably (transparent) neutral, open entry and exit platforms, tools, and assets that enable-enforce free-market-trade. Peter Diamanidis’ 6 D’s thesis.

Both enable abundance, both can replace ‘the State’, better both can enable the evolution of ‘the State’, the major tension will be over what should be owned by ‘them’ (i.e. corporations) versus ‘us’ (i.e. communities-individuals).

As society transitions, there are no ‘safe-haven’ assets, just assets that will persist through the transition. The only one I am certain of is #bitcoin. I have confidence in a number of others. #DYOR. Disruption is gradual then sudden, the wave of disruption in building off-shore of EVERYWHERE, timing, severity, and your preparedness-position are the variables.

Free advice, bitcoin is the foundation that will survive the tsunami of disruption. The rest is work.
